Programme – Daily or in advance?

One of the central underpinning facets of CrossFit is to make our athletes prepared for the unknown and unknowable. One of the ways we so this is to work a General Physical Preparedness programme that covers the 10 elements of fitness. Coupled to that, we only post the workout for the day on the day itself; this stops the inevitable cherry-picking of workouts and tendency to attend those workouts we know we will find easier than others.

Recently, some members have asked to see workouts in advance in order to support their own training programme for a particular sport or interest. This I am happy to do up to a point.

In order to maintain the very defining principles of CrossFit, the WOD will now be released on the day itself. For some, this will be business as usual and you’ll see no change.

If you have specific reason to see the advanced programme then let me know and we’ll sort something out, otherwise just enjoy the surprise!
